Millions of users data were left in public and in the open.
Records from CAM4.com, an adult site that offers explicit webcam performances, includes names, emails and chat transcripts. The leak was stopped after researchers notified the said site as there is no evidence that criminals got hold of the data. But still, the leak could have left the users vulnerable to various risks like identity theft and blackmailing.
Majority of the leaked data are from American, Brazilian and Italian users and more than half a million records was also traced back in China even though the country banned online pornography, it seems other people were able to slipped through their Firewalls.
