Shortcuts could take much longer time rather than just taking the long route. A chinese woman had to be rescued by firemen as she tried to go through a small opening between a couple of rock. Her bottom and chest did not come in handy at this time as it became the culprit of her getting stuck.
The less than 1-hour rescue happened at a popular tourist destination in the city of Mudanjiang in Heilongjiang Province, China. It took 12 men to pull her out.
This reminded some people of the movie, 127 hours, featuring James Franco. Good thing it did not take her that long to be rescued.
