That’s right. The headline is not misleading. Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko said, “We will have small bottles of Hennessy in the food packs that we will be giving to our people.”
Nairobi is the Capital of Kenya and the Governor justified that alcohol is a “throat sanitizer.”
The governor said, “I think from the research conducted by the World Health Organization and various organizations, it has been believed that alcohol plays a major role in killing the coronavirus.”
The World Health Organization already disputed this claim saying that alcohol does not protect against COVID 19 and access should be restricted during lockdown.
We are not making this up.
